If you are planning on purchasing a home, you might be both excited and nervous at the prospect. One goal of our Home Buyer seminars is to take the confusion and uncertainty out of the home buying process. Our "Home Buyer" seminars are free-of-charge and provide information on financing options, prequalifying for a mortgage, making an offer on a home, closing a loan transaction, and maintaining a home. We also educate the potential homeowner on ways to reduce energy costs, and what to look for in an energy efficient home.

If you are having a problem making your mortgage payment, call or write your lender without delay. Explain your situation to them. You will need to provide them with your loan number and financial information such as income and expenses. Stay in your home for now. If you abandon your property, you may not qualify for assistance.
